About Us
MIRAMICHI OFF-ROAD ATV CLUB is a Non-Profit Organization established in December of 2007.  Our future goal is to provide a All Terrain Vehicle trail system for all to enjoy from Miramichi West formally Newcastle to Lower Newcastle.  This trail system will link our surrounding clubs that will allow us to travel throughout the province of New Brunswick.

Our club is based at the current FINS AND FEATHERS Lodge located on the Russellville road in Lower Newcastle.  This is a central  location for the trails which will eventually take us from Neguac to Blackville.  Its lodging facilities, restaurant and meeting area will enable us to host events such as ATV tours and fundraisers.

We all know ATV riding is the next big boom in outdoor recreation. There are many different groups utilizing ATV's for many different reasons. ATV sales have been climbing steadily in Miramichi, and in New Brunswick as a whole. The rise in the popularity of ATVing is relatively easy to gauge from the sales statistics. What is not so easy to gauge is where those ATV's are being used. It is unrealistic to assume that people will stop buying ATV's, or that the manufacturers will stop making them. By creating, enhancing and designating an ATV trail network, we are giving ATV users a place to enjoy their recreation, and keep them away from areas where they shouldn't be. When Miramichi Off-Road ATV Club develops a trail network, we can avoid sensitive areas, and educate ATV riders through things such as signage and mapping. Our club will also maintain our trails to help ensure a good riding experience. Canadians spent $3.3 billion in 2005 on ATV activities directly involving 975,000 All-Terrain vehicles.  In the province of NB alone $50,000,000.00 was spent.  This was reported by The Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council (COHV).

Miramichi Off-Road ATV Club is presently looking for sponsorship from local business in the Miramichi area.  Currently we can offer advertising on our website and at fundraising events. Long term we can offer advertising throughout our trails system and on our groomer once purchased. This funding will go towards the development and maintenance of our trail system, groomer for winter driving and signage.

If we all work together we can make our community stronger by bringing increasing tourism and commerce in the Miramichi.
